Colossians 3:1-17
For what am I thankful? For what are you thankful?
I am thankful for...
1. Family that is always there to remind us we are not alone
2. Bad music that reminds me I can hear
3. Pain that lets me know I am alive
4. Hope that forever keeps me reaching upward
5. Those who agree with me; it lets me know I may not be the only one who may be wrong
6. Those who disagree with me; it lets me know there is another perspective that I have not considered yet
7. Toys that remind me life is not a game
8. Kittens that show me who is more important than what
9. Good times that make me appreciate bad times
10. Tough times that help me grow
11. Thorns that remind me roses come with a price
12. Lonliness that causes me to see myself
13. Friends that will tell me the truth
14. Enemies that are few, if any (one for sure - the devil)
15. The devil that reminds me I am accomplishing something for the Kingdom
16. The Word of God that keeps my compass pointed due north
17. The Holy Spirit who reminds me to go slow and be patient
18. Those who forgive because I then realize I too need forgiving
